We all know a girl either in college or her first job or even running her own company that could ALWAYS use new office supplies. I'm not talking about plain copy paper, but stylish pieces that make her happy anytime she sees them or uses them. Here's a curated little gift guide to pick up some last minute gifts any girl in an office or college setting would love. (Don't forget those stay/work-at-home-moms, either!)
Wilde House Paper: Stationery Box
One of my absolutely favorite calligrapher/handletterers Lauren of A Fabulous Fete, teamed up with one of her friends to creat Wilde House Paper, where they curate a monthly stationery box, which you can buy as a single box or sign up for a monthly subscription. I'm dying to get my hands on one, but you can get a sneak peek into their boxes via there Instagram account @wildehousepaper.
Appointed: Minimalist Planner
After trying so many agendas, I love The Day Designer for personal appointment keeping but I just love the simplicity, size and ease of use of this planner from Appointed. They are based out of DC and have a gorgeous line of products, and most of them can even be monogrammed. With so many planners out there running you $50-$60 these days, it was refreshing finding a lovely, easy to use planner for just $30.
I love the cloth feel of the cover, the spiral binding, the grid pattern on the daily pages, and the size is just perfect to tuck in your bag or keep in a drawer.
Rifle Paper Co.: Pretty Little NotebookS
I always have these pretty notebooks on hand to quickly jot down random things I need to do later or taking notes during meetings or planning projects. They are the perfect size to keep in your computer bag or purse, and are just so pretty to look at, your gift recipient will absolutely love getting these. They are $14/$15 a set, and you could even buy a set and split them up. Noone would ever know or care that they just got one pretty little notebook!
Mac & Murphy: Rifle Paper Wall Calendar
I love a good wall calendar.... as someone who loves to write things down, I feel the need to have a planner and a wall calendar... It's easy to glance up and see what you've got going on this week, mainly where you need to go or who is coming to visit with a good wall calendar. There are a lot of pretty calendars out there, and a lot of functional calendars, but this one is the perfect marriage of both style and functionality. I get one every year... it's actually on my own Christmas list!
Candlefish: Seasonal Candles
Whether your friend can light candles at work or if it's just going to be used as decor and just use the non-lit smell waft through their cubicle, these pretty candles from Candlefish out of Charleston, SC are amazing.
Any one of these gifts is sure to make someone very happy, so just think about them and their style and choose one you think they'd really love and use! The best gifts are practical and useful as well as pretty. Happy shopping!
