Hi guys! Who's excited about fall? This girl is. I'm not one to completely makeover our house for the changing seasons and holidays, but I do love a touch of change to get into the spirit of the season. That usually means changing out a wreath and throwing a few pumpkins around this time of year. For indoors, I like to grab a few tiny orange and white pumpkins. It gives off a cozy seasonal vibe without being over the top. Bonus points if you find these little cuties on a pumpkin patch excursion, but store bought are just as pretty! Now take those pumpkins and throw some pretty gold paint hand lettering on there and you have a cute little personalized fall decoration. My favorite paint markers for projects like these are DecoColor Premium, which you can find at any craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Other types of paint markers are great too, but these are my favorite. The metallics are just THE best. Make sure all the dirt is wiped off, as your paint won't stick very well to the pumpkin if there is still a layer of dirt. Find a steady place to write, preferably not like me these days with a toddler hanging off of your arm... It makes for some shaky lettering! Once you are finished, let them dry and they'll last as long as you keep your pumpkins out. I don't usually put these on the front stoop, but they should be okay if you choose to set them out. Hand-lettered pumpkins might just be the extra touch you need to give your home a nice fall vibe. Throw them on your dining table, your buffet spread for a fall brunch or Halloween party. I like to choose words or phrases that can last well past Halloween on through Thanksgiving, like "Cheers," "Gather," or "Hello,Fall." I'm all about stretching that budget. Happy fall, y'all!
